Flexible robotic filling and closing system FSO
The efficient and precise filling of medication is of crucial importance for the pharmaceutical industry. Flexibility, accuracy and efficiency are essential, especially in clinical studies and small batch manufacturing.
The flexible robotic filling and closing system FSO was specifically developed to meet these requirements by being able to flexibly combine various modules such as a tray infeed, rotary table, tray loading freeze dryer, and outlet tray loader into a complete solution. The optional oRABS (Open Restricted Access Barrier System) is a physical barrier between the operator and the product. Gloves can be used to intervene if necessary. There are laminar flow devices on the machine guard for directed air flow at 0.45m/s.

Flexibility
The FSO has high process flexibility thanks to robot-synchronized object transport.
Stoppers can be removed from the tray or a sorting bowl with the robot.
The system can be flexibly combined into a complete solution using a tray inlet, rotary table, tray loading freeze dryer and outlet tray loader.
In addition, product bags or product vessels with bendable measuring rods can be integrated. In combination with a process pump, maximum flexibility can be ensured.
Efficiency
The machine can be equipped with an in-process control using an integrated scale. This makes it possible to readjust the filling quantity.
Stability
The objects are optionally processed using nitrogen purging to ensure optimal product stability. For individual applications, the servo needle movement can also be used to choose between under- and over-level filling.
Stopper placement and pressure-monitored single-disc capping ensure tightly closed vials.
